We haven't had any substantial rainfall -- any more than a shower -- since early June.
The entire province is in drought.
Wells are drying up all over the place when something like 42% of the province relies on well water. I'm in an area on a reservoir (water conservation currently voluntary, probably because this is also an area filled with spoiled screaming fuckholes) but all around wells are going dry and even in the city the govt is supplying litres of water to outlying families. My parents' well is "very low".
It's been hard enough to do anything productive in the face of fascism and genocide and deliberate ignorance and now I can barely physically function while things fall apart and the wildfires kick off.
And fuckwits are suing the govt (I hate the fuckers running the province but in this regard they're right) because they aren't allowed in the woods or to set fires.
My ability to /do/ or to /be/ is shrivelling up along with the wells and the crops.
